The Wexford Foundation is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our Lowcountry community. We provide financial resources to address critical needs in health, housing, hunger, and education.

While our island community has the reputation of an upscale resort, the reality is that a significant portion of the population on Hilton Head and the surrounding area lives at or below the poverty level. Many individuals are homeless, lack access to basic health and educational services, and in more extreme cases, live in abusive or dangerous relationships.

Since 2012, we have awarded more than $4 million in grants to local nonprofits with a proven ability to deliver tangible results. Each grant touches lives directly—lifting individuals in times of need and creating positive, lasting change.
