In conjunction with the Hospital Auxiliary Tournament held at Wexford and Harbourtown, Wexford sponsors a closest-to-the-pin putting contest raising thousands of dollars each year for charity.
The Wexford Foundation’s “Send a Hero” program provided members and families of the military, first responders and the Sheriff’s Department the opportunity for a day of fun and adventure. Through donations and the generosity of Roger and Pam Freedman, local heroes and their families were provided complimentary tickets to enjoy Aerial Adventure Hilton Head.
Starting in 2019, Wexford member Jon Shaver donated 20th century hickory shafted clubs and a trophy for golfers to participate in the “Hickory Challenge”. Members enjoyed a round of golf using the special clubs and competed for the Low Round Awards and generously donated to the Wexford Foundation.
